STEP 1: Call us to Book an Appointment
You must have a physician’s approval in order to receive an MMJ card. We have a licensed medical marijuana physician on our team at Zia Releaf in Portales, New Mexico. Request an appointment by calling 575-226-7246. You will need your medical records showing your qualifying condition. Click here to view a list of approved New Mexico Qualifying Conditions.
STEP 2: Consult with our On-site Doctor
Medical cannabis evaluations usually don’t last more than 20-30 minutes and is located in Portales, New Mexico. You can ask any questions you may have about medical marijuana treatments.
After your appointment is complete, the doctor will fill out a recommendation form for medical marijuana and approve you. The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) will issue your card, and this process usually takes 30-40 Days.
STEP 3: State Approval Process
Once you are approved, we will also assist you with the New Mexico state registration. The state will process your application and mail your card.
Once you have your card in hand, you can begin purchasing from dispensaries. In New Mexico, patients will need to re-certify their license annually by seeing a licensed physician again. Zia Releaf will contact you when your certification is nearing the expiration date to help you setup a renewal consultation.
